CONCERTS

Let My Prayer Arise | Saturday 21 March 2015, 8pm | St John's Church, Epping

No one who has ever heard Russian church music properly rendered can refrain from an expression of admiration and exaltation.

So said a visitor to Russia at the beginning of the 20th century, a golden age for Russian sacred music.
The Meljon Singers bring you a taste of this wonderful repertoire including works by lesser-known composers such as Katalsky, Chesnokov and Grechaninov alongside those by Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, and Italian and Russian composers from earlier eras. Download a flyer (pdf) to distribute/display.
