Whether you usually listen to classical, jazz, pop or any other type of music, the beautiful voice of Meljon is bound to inspire.

In addition to the performance, your evening will feature a complimentary programme with information on the music and performers and carefully chosen interval drinks and nibbles will (usually) be served.

Sacred a cappella works by Britten, Howells, Parry and Rubbra, including Howells' Requiem and Parry's Songs of Farewell.


Songs of Springtime | Saturday 17 June 2017, 7.30pm | St Mary's Church, South Woodford

French and English songs celebrating the joys of spring by composers including Britten, Debussy, Finzi, Moeran, and Ravel.


Sacred Love | Saturday 14 October 2017, 7.30pm | St Mary's Church, Woodbridge

Twentieth century choral music from the UK and Russia. A cappella or with cello accompaniment. Music by Arensky, Britten, Bennet, Rachmaninov, Rubbra, Schnittke, Stanford, Sviriodov, Tavener, Tchaikovsky and Viskov.


Women's Hour | Saturday 25 November 2017, 7.30pm | St John's Church, Epping

A concert which brings to the fore choral music composed by women in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Music by: Rebecca Clarke, Eleanor Daley, Imogen Holst, Evelyn La Rue Pittman, Libby Larsen, Cecilia McDowall and Thea Musgrave.
